Mer Diamonds Worldwide Return Policy

We want you to be absolutely delighted with your diamond jewelry purchase. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, we offer a straightforward return process subject to the terms outlined below.


Eligibility for Return

  • Return Window: You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return.

  • Condition of Item: All returned items must be in their original, unworn, and brand-new condition. This includes, but is not limited to, all original packaging and any protective plastic or tags still attached. We cannot accept returns for any item that is broken, damaged, resized, or altered by the customer or by a jeweler other than Mer Diamonds. Items showing any signs of wear or damage will be rejected.


How to Initiate a Return

  1. Request a Return Authorization (RA): Before sending any item back, you must contact our customer service team via email at merdiamonds@gmail.com or by our contact information listed on the contact us page to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns sent without an RA number will be rejected and returned to the sender.

  2. Packaging: Securely package the jewelry in the original box or appropriate shipping container, including all paperwork. Clearly write the RA number on the outside of the package.

  3. Shipping Instructions: Our customer service team will provide you with the specific shipping address and will explain exactly how to prepare and deliver the package back using the mandatory same shipping method (including insurance) to ensure a secure return.


Shipping and Insurance for Returns (Crucial Information)

The customer is fully responsible for all costs associated with the return shipment, including shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, and insurance for one direction (from customer to us).

  • Mandatory Shipping Method and Insurance: To ensure the security and traceability of high-value diamond jewelry, all returns must be shipped back using the exact same shipping method (carrier, service level, and including insurance coverage for the original purchase price, e.g., UPS fully insured) that was used to deliver the item to you.

  • Non-Compliance: Returns sent via a different carrier, service level, or without the equivalent full insurance will be rejected upon arrival and returned to the sender at the customer's expense. This strict requirement is necessary to protect both parties from loss or damage during transit.

  • Liability: Mer Diamonds is not responsible for any packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during the return transit. Failure to comply with the mandatory insured shipping method may result in a complete loss if the item is not delivered to us.


Refund Process

  • Inspection: Once we receive the returned item, it will undergo a thorough inspection by our quality assurance team.

  • Approval and Timing: If the item passes inspection and meets all eligibility criteria, your refund will be processed and credited back to the original form of payment used for the purchase. Our team will contact you directly regarding the timeline for the credit to appear in your account after the product is received and inspected.

  • Deductions: The original shipping and insurance charges paid on your initial order are non-refundable.
